GreenSpark Solar has been selected as a Top Workplace by Democrat & Chronicle for 2023 once again! In its 10th year of hosting the Top Workplace awards, the Democrat & Chronicle received a record number of nominations for consideration that changed the business sizes for each category. GreenSpark Solar was nominated within the small business category, which received triple the number of nominations compared to past years.

Significant funding for REAP was included in the recent Inflation Reduction Act, or climate bill,, and offers agricultural producers and rural small businesses financial incentives to make the switch to solar power. Solar energy can protect farms and businesses against unpredictable rate hikes, offering stability and cost savings all while taking an important step toward energy independence and resiliency. GreenSpark Solar had its Inaugural Wellness Week, February 20–24th, closing down operations to take a collective organization-wide break. The purpose of Wellness Week is to combat burnout and promote self-care by taking a collective company leave. According to the American Psychological Association, “taking time off helps the majority of US workers recover from stress and experience positive effects that improve their well-being and job performance.”
