KC Bailey Orchards, Inc: GreenSpark Commercial Wind Project GreenSpark installed its first Proven 15kW wind turbine at KC Bailey Orchards, Inc. in July of 2010. Considering the needs of owner Chip Bailey, along with the electric load of the facility and wind speed at the location, resulted in research for a technology that GreenSpark had yet to install. The outcome of that research was the 15kW wind turbine that is connected at Bailey’s employee housing facility and a cold storage warehouse. It is expected to offset 65% of the load at that site.
