In 2019, GreenSpark Solar installed a solar array on a capped landfill in the Village of Brockport. This 646 kW solar array offsets the electricity needs of multiple buildings, including Seymour Library, three fire stations, the visitor center, the Department of Public Works, municipal offices, the police station, and streetlights.
GreenSpark Solar’s PV installers are responsible for supporting the Crew Lead in all aspects of PV project installation. The correct candidate is comfortable working with a team, with hand tools and power tools, around heavy equipment, using ladders at all heights, and carrying weight on roofs in order to install high quality, photovoltaic (PV) systems in accordance with codes and standards using drawings/schematics and instructions. Our PV installers have strong technical problem solving and interpersonal skills. All of our employees take pride in representing our company and culture in the best light to our customers, community and vendors.
