Everyone loves a success story and we have a doozy to share! Today we are celebrating our in-house superhero, John Conklin, Solar Home Advisor. John is our longest tenured residential sales person who has sold the highest number of residential solar systems in the history of our company! He has sold over a million dollars worth of residential solar systems and has helped bring affordable solar to hundreds of people in the Greater Rochester region. John started with GreenSpark as a temporary worker on one of our larger commercial projects and later transitioned into a permanent position as an Installer,…
2017 has been a wonderful year for GreenSpark. We just celebrated being the #1 fastest growing company in 2017, we added 20 new employees to our roster, and we will have added 19 more megawatts of clean energy to the grid by the end of this year alone! We are so incredibly grateful for these accomplishments, among others. In addition to these wonderful things, we are grateful to have our very own National Guard, Ted Courtney, back in the U.S. and back with our GreenSpark team after serving on the ground in Afghanistan for the past year. Ted, thank you…
I have only been with GreenSpark for a short time, but already, my outlook on grassroots organizing and going door to door has transformed. I think there is a stigma surrounding going door to door. You can picture it: the smooth-talking, greasy salesman just looking to rip you off and take your money. At least, that's what I always pictured when I thought of going door to door. I just pictured countless doors slamming in my face; people running and diving beneath their beds to hide when they saw me coming down the street. What I imagined, however, couldn't have been…
It's about that time again, a chance for you to get to know who we are and the source of our pride - we're so proud of our family here at GreenSpark. This week, on our Faces of GreenSpark blog series, meet John Bopp, Solar Guide at GreenSpark. Q: Why should people care about clean/solar energy? A: "Not caring about clean energy is tantamount to not caring about your home or the place you live. To continuously utilize forms of energy production that have been proven harmful, not only to our environment, but to ourselves as a species would eventually…
We're so proud of our "family" here at GreenSpark and we want to give you a chance to get to know who we are and the source of our pride. So, every couple of weeks we feature one of our colleagues in our Faces of GreenSpark blog series. This week, we chatted with Mary Nicholas, Manager of Community Organizing. She's a gem. See what she had to say. Q: Why should people care about clean/solar energy? A: "Going solar is one of the most empowering actions you can take as an individual to make a positive impact on the local…
We're so proud of our team here and wanted to give you a chance to get to know who we are - the faces of GreenSpark. We had a chance to sit down with Luke Spencer, one of our Project Engineers, and it was an absolute pleasure. See what he had to say. Q: Why should people care about clean/solar energy? A: "I think people do care about clean, renewable energy and for a variety of reasons. Many people site the need for a cleaner, low-carbon power source as their main reason. Others appreciate how solar energy improves our local…
We're always on the lookout for passionate and talented individuals to make our family brighter, which is why we're thrilled to welcome Shawn Lessord to the GreenSpark team as a PV Sales Associate.
