Long Acre Farms

Long Acre Farms, GreenSpark Commercial Solar GreenSpark installed a 72.8 solar array for Doug and Joan Allen at Long Acre Farms in the Spring of 2015. The ground mounted solar array is expected to cover over 100% of the Farms’ electric load and pay for itself in just five years. Clarkson University

GreenSpark installed a 2.31MW solar array for Clarkson University in Potsdam, NY in the fall of 2014. The solar array spanned 12 acres of land just outside the Village of Potsdam and will generate close to 10 percent of Clarkson University’s electrical needs. Support for this project came from New York State Governor Andrew M. Cuomo’s NY-Sun initiative, which is administered by the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA). NY-Sun is a $1 billion initiative to advance the scale-up of solar and move the state closer to having a sustainable, self-sufficient solar industry.
