Cape Cod Regional Transit Authority, GreenSpark Wind Project GreenSpark installed its sixth Northwind 100 in the Northeastern United States, fifth in the State of Massachusetts, with a 100kW at the Cape Cod Regional Transit Authority’s (CCRTA) Operations and Maintenance Facility located in Dennis, MA. The CCRTA received a $700,000 grant from the Federal Transit Administration through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act last year and in turn hired GreenSpark to provide wind turbine development and construction specific knowledge to the project’s design and construction phase. Richland, NY: GreenSpark Commercial Solar Project The Town of Richland’s 100kW wind turbine located at the Orwell Water Pumping Station marks GreenSpark's first community scale wind turbine installation in the State of New York. The project, which was partially funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, is the seventh Northwind 100 installed by GreenSpark and the first in New York state. KC Bailey Orchards, Inc: GreenSpark Commercial Wind Project GreenSpark installed its first Proven 15kW wind turbine at KC Bailey Orchards, Inc. in July of 2010. Considering the needs of owner Chip Bailey, along with the electric load of the facility and wind speed at the location, resulted in research for a technology that GreenSpark had yet to install.
