Choose a Company that Specializes in Solar
GreenSpark has been installing renewable energy for over 20 years, with solar energy as our focus. When going solar, it’s important to choose a team of experts who specialize in the industry. NABCEP Certified
Along with GreenSpark being a NYSERDA Quality Installer, many of our installers have been certified by the North American Board of Certified Energy Practiotioners (NABCEP). NABCEP is the most respected and widely recognized certification organization for renewable energy professionals. NABCEP Board certifications are awarded to installers who have accumulated experience, extensive training, and have passed a rigorous exam.
Ongoing Training
Our solar-specific training covers not only solar, but also in-depth roofing and electrical skills knowledge. Our certifications require constant, ongoing education. As solar experts, we customize designs and installations for optimal performance, understanding the various considerations that may otherwise be overlooked (permitting requirements, equipment warranties, and capabilities, etc.).
Our Experience
We’ve been in the renewable energy business for over 20 years. We have been here to support our customers as the industry has evolved, to provide solar PV expansions, electric service upgrades, backup batteries, and EV chargers. We provide maintainance and assistance for many customers that initially went with other companies and find issues of all sorts, typically due to non-industry-best practices.
A few examples of findings from service calls for systems we did not install include: improper flashing, need for physical mountings and support, lack of compliance with electrical code, improper design, and lack of proper expectations set in terms of production, and more.
Operations and Maintenance
With the continued growth of solar, more companies are entering the market to offer installation services. While the industry-growth is necessary and positive, it will be more important than ever for consumers to research the solar companies they are considering.
GreenSpark is unique in that every solar package includes our robust Operations & Maintenance service with installation. Other companies may charge for repairs often addressed by staff with little to no experience in repairing and addressing problems. Some companies may not have plans to be in the area long-term, so as a customer, you could be left without any help addressing issues if that installer leaves or goes out of business.
GreenSpark customers can rest assured knowing that if their warrantied system needs any maintenance, our in-house Customer Care Team will take care of it.
