NYSERDA (New York State Energy Research and Development Authority) has just opened a new round of residential solar incentives—which means you still have an opportunity to save on your solar investment!
We weren’t certain there would be another funding block after the last one filled up—but Block 13 is officially open! That means more funding is available if you missed the last block.
How Much Can You Save with NYSERDA’s Solar Grant?
Under Block 13, homeowners can receive $0.15 per Watt toward their residential solar installation. For an average-sized GreenSpark solar array (12.6 kW), that adds up to nearly $1,900 in savings!
And there’s more—once Block 13 is fully claimed, NYSERDA has announced Block 14, which will also provide $0.15 per Watt in funding.
However, Block 14 will be limited to NYSEG, RG&E, and National Grid service area homeowners.
