A Day of Sustainable Fun and Community Celebration
Ontario, NY – August 5, 2024—GreenSpark Solar is thrilled to host SolarFest 2024, our annual celebration of clean energy and community. This year’s event will take place on Sunday, August 25, from 12 PM to 4 PM at our headquarters at 318 Timothy Lane, Ontario, NY 14519.
This event, now in its third year, is our way of saying thank you to our valued customers and supporters who help us champion fiercely local, cost-effective, clean energy solutions in the Greater Rochester area.
SolarFest 2024 promises an afternoon filled with delicious food, refreshing drinks, music, exciting raffles, a photo booth, and a wide array of sustainably-focused activities. The event will take place rain or shine, welcoming all members of our community who share our passion and interest in clean energy solutions.

Sustainable Organizations and Family-Friendly Activities:
At SolarFest, there’s something for everyone. Explore booths from more than a dozen local sustainably-focused organizations, including WXXI, SolarFest’s 2024 media sponsor, Rochester Museum and Science Center, Adirondack Mountain Club, Citizens’ Climate Lobby, Tesla Owners Club New York State, live birds with Braddock Bay Raptor Research, animals from Seneca Park Zoo, and more!
GreenSpark Solar Tours and Games:
Get a behind-the-scenes tour of our on-site solar arrays and wind turbines, check out electric vehicles, or bring your own to show off in our EV car show, engage in interactive games, explore green jobs, ask all your renewable energy questions, and meet our team.
Food and Beverage:
Enjoy complimentary lunch and drinks, including beer for those 21 and over, provided by Northcoast Catering and Firefly Studios & Nectar. Plus, enjoy complimentary wine tastings from JD Wine Cellars. Additional food and beverages will be available for purchase, including ice cream from Netsin’s!
Entertainment and Raffles:
Groove to tunes by Breakthrough DJ and capture memories from SolarFest 2024 at our photo booth from 12 PM to 3 PM. Grab some GreenSpark swag and participate in exciting raffles throughout the event for the chance to take home some fantastic prizes.
Our Low-Waste Commitment:
Last but certainly not least, Impact Earth, a partner of GreenSpark’s for over five years, is helping to make sure SolarFest 2024 is a low-waste event. With compostable serveware and comprehensive composting and recycling services, we’re dedicated to minimizing our environmental footprint.
