GreenSpark is thrilled to have been selected as a vetted partner of the local New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) Clean Energy Hub, operated by the Climate Solutions Accelerator of the Genesee-Finger Lakes Region.

Last year, NYSERDA announced the Rochester-based Climate Solutions Accelerator would receive one of 12 awards to establish Regional Clean Energy Hubs across the nine-county Finger Lakes Region of New York State. The mission of the Climate Solutions Accelerator, a 501c(3), is to create a healthier, more equitable, and regenerative community by catalyzing local efforts to eliminate greenhouse gas emissions and address the effects of climate change.

According to NYSERDA, the Clean Energy Hubs “serve as centers of outreach, awareness, and education in regions across New York State and help foster residents’ participation, especially those in underserved or otherwise disadvantaged communities, in New York’s clean energy transition. Today’s announcements support the Climate Leadership and Community Protection Act goal to deliver at least 35 percent of the benefits, with a goal of 40 percent, from clean energy investments to disadvantaged communities and help advance an equitable clean energy transition for all New Yorkers.”

The Clean Energy Hub chose GreenSpark as an official vendor partner earlier this year and welcomed them as “partners that are trusted to provide expert advice and installations to our neighbors. Our partners were vetted and selected based on a few factors: overall quality, value, experience, company interviews, customer referrals, and a commitment to sustainability and equity.”

As a Certified B Corp with a triple bottom line of People, Planet, and Profit, GreenSpark aligns with these standards, bringing over 20 years experience as an industry-leading renewable energy installer to the program.
