What is your job at GreenSpark?

Customer Operations Specialist

How long have you been working here?

I started as an intern in September 2019 and was hired officially in November. This fall will be 3 years.

What made you apply to your job at GreenSpark in the first place?

It was part of my graduate program to do an internship and my advisor connected me with George. I loved the mission and the vibe of the company. After a few months of being an intern I knew I wanted to stay. 

Did you have previous solar experience before working here?

I took classes in college, but no professional experience.

What is your favorite thing about working at GreenSpark?

I like that we’re all in it for the same reasons and working towards the same goal despite not working together every day. 

 

What do you do day-to-day at your job?

I make spreadsheets and then I make more spreadsheets. I also do commercial reporting and various other tasks to help the customer care department as well as other departments across the company. 

If you could be in any other position/department at the company, what would it be?

I love working in the customer care team, but I think it would be cool to work on commercial ops.

How do you see your position evolving in the next 3-5 years?

The customer care team is going to need to expand significantly in the next 3 to 5 years to accommodate all the work that will come with the new commercial jobs we build. I think my position will turn towards process management to keep the department running smoothly. 

Would you refer people to work at GreenSpark?
