GreenSpark Solar and partners Kendall Sustainable Infrastructure (KSI) celebrated 8 MWs of new solar energy with a ribbon cutting in Dix, NY on October 6th, 2021. The ceremony marked the completion of a 5 MW array in Dix, NY and another 3 MW project nearby in Orange, NY.

KSI is the owner and financier, while GreenSpark provided the engineering, procurement, and construction services for the arrays . The projects were partially funded through NYSERDA’s NY-Sun Program, and contribute to New York’s goal of 70% renewable energy by 2030 with net zero emissions electricity by 2040.

Together, GreenSpark and KSI have built over 40 MWs of solar in New York State, including 17 MWs completed in 2020. The energy produced benefits local residences and businesses both financially and environmentally.
