Three-time Gold designee recognized for consistent excellence in solar installation quality across New York State
Rochester, NY — GreenSpark Solar, a New York–based installer serving commercial and residential solar and battery customers throughout the state, as well as developers throughout the Northeast, has once again earned the NYSERDA Quality Solar Installer – Gold Status designation for 2026. This achievement marks GreenSpark’s third consecutive year receiving Gold status, and the fifth time the company has been recognized through NYSERDA’s Quality Solar Installer (QSI) program overall.

Administered by the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) as part of the NY-Sun program, the Quality Solar Installer designation recognizes solar contractors who consistently meet rigorous quality-assurance standards. Gold Status is reserved for installers who have achieved QSI recognition for three consecutive years, completed at least 12 projects in the prior calendar year, and maintained an average field inspection score of 4.0 or higher.
NYSERDA created the Quality Solar Installer designation to help New York-based homeowners, business owners and nonprofit leaders considering commercial solar, identify solar contractors with a proven track record of high-quality work.
