And as we celebrate this major recognition, we can’t help but be grateful for all the customers and partners that helped us become who we are as a company.

So how did we become a B Corp Best for the World 2018 Honoree? In a nutshell, the overall environmental performance and impact of our company was closely evaluated. In addition, our service offerings were assessed to see how well they solve environmental problems.

In order to make the cut, we had to score in the top 10th percentile of all Certified B Corps in our respective category of energy and environmental services. After all the hard work we’ve invested in this area and others, it feels good to know that we’ve made a difference.

Sure, we’re in the business of helping people save money and the environment with clean, local energy, but we’re also in the business of creating social value and positive change. As a B Corp and as a local Western NY business, we’re proud of the impact we’ve had on the communities we serve and the health of the environment. We’ve already set our sights on becoming a B Corp Best for World 2019 Honoree!
