Richmond Farms Dairy, GreenSpark Commercial Wind
GreenSpark installed a 50kW wind turbine at the dairy farm in July 2012. Nathaniel Richmond founded the farm in 1835. The 6th generation farmers and currently operate the farm, located in North Collins, NY, with help from their children. Today the farm milks about 200 cows and is situated on 650 acres of land to grow both corn and hay.
