Richland, NY: GreenSpark Commercial Solar Project

The Town of Richland’s 100kW wind turbine located at the Orwell Water Pumping Station marks GreenSpark’s first community scale wind turbine installation in the State of New York. The project, which was partially funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, is the seventh Northwind 100 installed by GreenSpark and the first in New York state. GreenSpark served as the project’s systems integrator, managing all portions of the design and construction phases relating to the wind turbine. GreenSpark is currently working with the Town to finalize state-level grants, an extended warranty and a long term maintenance contract.
