GreenSpark installed a 2.31MW solar array for Clarkson University in Potsdam, NY in the fall of 2014. The solar array spanned 12 acres of land just outside the Village of Potsdam and will generate close to 10 percent of Clarkson University’s electrical needs.

Support for this project came from New York State Governor Andrew M. Cuomo’s NY-Sun initiative, which is administered by the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA). NY-Sun is a $1 billion initiative to advance the scale-up of solar and move the state closer to having a sustainable, self-sufficient solar industry.
